Kimberlee Payton Jones

Founder

Attorney Kimberlee Payton Jones is the founder of Payton Jones Law where she specializes in immigration litigation and injury litigation.

Personal Experience

She grew up in Washington, D.C., where she began her lifelong pursuit of justice. From a young age, she was active in her community and strived to improve lives, both locally and abroad.

She is a compassionate advocate with a heart for justice. In addition to her practice, she is active in the community and in the bar. She has served as co-chair of the Advocacy Committee for the Georgia Alabama chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and served undocumented youth in immigration court through the attorney of the day program.

She served as co-chair for the Judicial and Public Office Academy, chair of the Political Action Committee, and Chair of the Working Mother’s Committee of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys. She also served as a member of the advisory board for the Georgia Lawyers for the Arts.

Kimberlee is also the founder of Southern Lawyer, a social justice 501(c)(3).

Attorney Jones graduated from the College of William & Mary and from the Georgetown University Law Center. She also has advanced degrees from Johns Hopkins University and Emory University.
